The Real Deal!

I am constantly making custom orders. If you would like me to make you a custom necklace, just email me at the link below. I do ask for a small donation, but it's always affordable!
  How I got started...

I started making hemp jewelry in 1992. My cousin taught me how to make friendship bracelets. Once I learned the basic knots of macrame, I started making hemp necklaces. I soon realized that hemp was on the rise, so I decided to invest in some supplies. A couple rolls of hemp and a handful of beads. All I needed to do after that was tie, tie, tie!

The Art of Macrame...

Macrame, is just another form of knot tying, that forms into patterns and designs. I have been using macrame to make my jewelry for 9 years now. I have made over 1500 necklaces, so far. When I lived in California, I was making an average of 10 to 20 necklaces per week, and now, I only make about 10 a month. So, send me your requests, and I'll get it to you as soon as possible. (Usually 4 to 6 weeks at the most.)

How to order a custom hemp necklace...

My Bead Box!

Here's a peek at some of the things I have collected and traded in my travels. I am always looking for interesting stuff, especially glass beads!

The Stash Rope!!!

Sometime in January, 1999 I got this crazy idea to make hollow, stash necklaces. Shortly after that, I had so many orders for stash ropes, I almost had to stop making them all together. But I couldn't just stop, so I decided that I would travel. I went to just about every festival on the West Coast that summer. Needless to say, I didn't stop making them. Since then, I've only had the time to make about 5 or 6 big stashers, and a handful of novelty stash necklaces...

Just so you know, I make stash bracelets and anklets, as well.
